The Garmin GPSMAP 64 has a 2.6-inch sunlight-readable color display and a high-sensitivity GPS/GLONASSreceiver with a quad helix antenna for superior reception. With the combination of GLONASS satellites, the Garmin GPSMAP 64 is able to locate itself about 20 percent faster than using GPS alone. This allows users to get their position quickly and precisely even in heavy cover area.
The GPSMAP 64 has rugged designed and IPX7 water resistant rating which is a perfect companion for outdoor use. This smart GPS handheld device is capable to install extra apps from Garmin website. It works with Garmin BaseCamp app (available in Google Play store and iTunes) which allows you to view and organize maps, waypoints, routes and tracks.

GPSMAP 64 also supports BirdsEye Satellite Imagery (subscription required) that allows you load satellite images onto your device and integrate them with your maps.
